A Woman’s Place is a busy OB/GYN office that aims to educate and facilitate optimal healthcare for women. We seek to fill a position in our Patient Care Coordinator team. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of healthcare industry, able to navigate EHR systems, excellent phone and customer service skills, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones with exceptional customer service skills.
- Schedule appointments and update patient information using EHR.
- Respond to patient requests with confidence regarding medical services, insurance policies, prescription requests, patient referrals, record request, and general inquiries.
- Identify patient needs and resolve problems by clarifying the issues to implement the best solution.
- Be a strong team member who is accountable and reliable.
- Meet regularly to review performance metrics, goals, and outcomes.
Experience:
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
- Computer skills: 3 years (Required)
- Electronic Health Records experience: 1 year (Required)
- Phone skills: 1 year (Required)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
