The ideal Patient Care Coordinator will have excellent phone and communication skills, able to work independently, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones with exceptional quality customer service skills.
  • Schedule appointments and review medical records using EMR.
  • Respond to patient requests with confidence regarding medical services, insurance policies, prescription requests, patient referrals, record request, and general inquiries.
  • Identify patient needs & resolve problems by clarifying the issues to implement the best solution.
  • Be an accountable and reliable team member.
  • Meet regularly to review performance metrics, goals, and outcomes.

Experience:

  • Customer service: 3 years (Required)
  • Computer skills: 3 years (Required)
  • Electronic Medical Records experience: 1 year (Required)
  • Phone skills: 1 year (Required)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
